    Study Rooms

    Use our online reservation system to reserve a group or quiet study room.  For use by HCC Students only.

    Reserve Quiet Study Rooms

    Quiet Study Rooms must be reserved. 1-3 students may reserve for a maximum of 2 hours per day. Reservations may be made up to a week in advance. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after the reservation start time, after 15 minutes the room will be released for others to use.

    Reserve Group Study Rooms

    Group Study Rooms must be reserved. 2-6 students may reserve for a maximum of 2 hours per day. Reservations may be made up to a week in advance. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after the reservation start time, after 15 minutes the room will be released for others to use.

    Policies:

    • Study rooms are for HCC student use only.
    • Study rooms must be reserved through the online reservation system, using a valid Owlmail email address.
    • Reservations can be made for a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of two hours per day.
    • Reservations may be made up to a week in advance.
    • Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after the reservation start time, after which time the room will be released for others to use.
    • To cancel a reservation, students can release it through the link in their reservation email or by contacting the Library Research Help Desk: 443-412-2131.
    • Library staff reserve the right to ask users of this room to show their HCC ID card and proof of reservation. 
    • Maximum occupancy is restricted by room type.
    • Please erase whiteboards and dispose of all food waste in an outside trash receptacle when finished using the room.
    • Windows and doors must remain unobstructed at all times.
    • Unattended items will be reported to Public Safety (located in the Belcamp building).

    Failure to adhere to the above may result in Library staff asking you to vacate the room. If you need assistance, please consult a Library staff member. Thank you for your cooperation!
