You're an out-of-the-box thinker, problem-solver, and for years you've dreamed about a career in a creative industry. Take a look. The art + design field is limitless, exciting, and expansive.

At Harford Community College, we offer a variety of Art + Design programs that prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution to complete your bachelor’s degree. Students take core Art + Design courses with the remainder in their concentration, and prepare a portfolio that's interview ready.

Digital ArtS, Area of Concentration in Art + Design
Does time-based media, animation, motion graphics, game design, special effects and multimedia seem like fascinating career options to you? Digital Arts is for you.

Fine Art, Area of Concentration in Art + Design
If you dream of being a fine artist, illustrator, or art educator— love art and want to strengthen your artistic voice—a concentration in fine art may be your choice.

Graphic Design, Area of Concentration in Art + Design
Want a challenging profession where you’ll create visual forms and concepts for clients that establish brand identity, communication and marketing strategy for both print and web? Choose graphic design.
