Food Pantry

No one should have to choose between going to college and having food on the table.

That said, Harford Community College recognizes that food scarcity is a reality for many members of our community. The Office of Student Life maintains an on-campus food pantry on the first floor of the Student Center. It is open to the entire campus community—students and staff.

The Office of Student Life regularly offers workshops on healthy eating, budgets, and cooking, and can also provide information about how to access free or low-cost food—both on or off campus— as well as other resources that may benefit you or your specific situation.

In need of emergency food or gas assistance?

The College stocks a limited number of Shop Rite grocery gift cards available to students who apply and present immediate need. Contact Laura Burke for more information.

Want to donate?

Donation baskets are located throughout the Harford campus. Donating is a great way to pay it forward and help your fellow Fighting Owls.
