Technology on Campus

The world, as well as the College, relies heavily on technology to function. For that reason, we have several resources available to help students navigate technology on campus.

Your Username and Password

NONCREDIT STUDENTS
As part of the registration process, you will receive an email with instructions to set your permanent username and password. This is an important step as your username and password allow you to access many resources on campus.

CREDIT STUDENTS
Accepted students receive an acceptance letter containing a temporary username and password with instructions to set your permanent username and password. This is an important step in the enrollment process since as a Harford Community College student, your username and password allows you access to many resources on campus.

Students must use their login credentials to access:

OwlNet
Campus portal used by all credit students to:

  • Check and print your class schedule
  • Confirm or change your personal information
  • View campus news and events
  • Register for classes
  • View your grades and transcripts

OwlMail
College email address used for all College communication. It starts with your username, and ends with @owlmail.harford.edu

Blackboard
This course management system is where instructors post assignments, syllabus, and other pertinent class material.

Microsoft 365
Online access to Cloud Storage, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Stream

ITS Help Desk

If you need help logging in to Office 365, OwlNet, Blackboard, or a campus computer, or are having problems accessing or setting your password, you can get help by calling the ITS Help Desk: 443.412.2477, option 3 during regularly scheduled hours or by using one of our self-service access links.
