Associate of Fine Arts

Recognizes a curricular focus on the fine arts (studio, graphic, digital, photographic and similar arts subjects). It focuses heavily on portfolio or performance preparation and is geared to those who wish to pursue a BFA at a university.

Associate of Arts

Recognizes a curricular focus on the liberal arts (humanities, social sciences and similar subjects) and fine arts. The Associate of Arts degree not only transfers to appropriate baccalaureate programs, but also provides for career exploration and skills upgrading.

Associate of Applied Sciences

Associate of Arts in Teaching

Recognizes a curricular focus in teacher education that meets the lower-level degree academic content, outcomes, and requirements for teacher education similar to the first two years of a baccalaureate program in teacher education.
